Special financial conditions are offered to PhD students who provide an official PhD registration certificate from their university.
Costs: EUR 1,000.- for a 5-day course, EUR 650.- for a 3-day course.
For European students, a one week course (28.5 to 30 hours) may be eligible for 3 ECTS credits, and a 3-day course (18 hours) may be eligible for 2 ECTS credit, provided these are accredited by your university and/or PhD advisor.
Obtention of the ECTS credits is subject to passing with success an exam organized on site. You will have to make a small report which deals with the application of the course followed, relating to the problem of your thesis.
If you wish to pass this exam, you imperatively have to mention it on the on-line registration form, at the same time you register. The credit(s) attestation will be sent to you by post after the exam.

EURO-DOTS for European PhD Students
EURO-DOTS is a new Support Action for Doctoral Training in Europe financed by the EC in the 7th F.P. This action is aimed primarily at improving the offering and the quality of training proposed to European PhD students. It helps fulfilling the requirements for ECTS credits imposed to PhD students by major European universities for obtaining the Doctoral (PhD) degree in Engineering.
